On the ground floor of the property are a dining room and sitting room opposite each other across the patio area which has a fountain and planting. There is a lemon tree in the centre of the patio and a "bhou" - or sitting area at the opposite end of the patio facing the fountain. Both dining and sitting rooms have open fireplaces. On the ground floor there is also the entrance hall, utility room and fully equipped kitchen.

Breakfast can be taken either in the dining room or at the seating area on the patio. This is a pleasant place to sit when the weather is hot in Marrakech or at the end of the day to relax with a bottle of wine.
